We are developing a range of hand blown lighting for an aquarium in conjunction with Mexico based lighting architectural firm Lightchitects and Tatiana Bilbao Estudio. Our brief, in collaboration to design, develop, manufacture a custom made range of pendant lights, Wall sconces and Floor lamps electrically certified for exterior use.

Well spring is definitely in the air here in San Miguel de Allende, summer is on its way. Things are going to get even warmer this year at our studio. As part of our long term plans to work with local artisans, community and educational entities we are making a hot-shop... thats code for a glass blowing studio ! The furnace has finally arrived from the USA and although it needs some refurbishing, and equipment and installations need to be built we are pretty excited ! Its shaping up to be our busiest year ever and now it just got busier...

To make glass by hand is an amazing sensation, the heat, timing, dexterous necessity, teamwork. Taking a gob of gooey dripping molten glass from a furnace and over time manipulating, reheating , blowing and forming the glass into an object is not always easy and even we sometimes make mistakes or take a few turns to get it right ! However making an object for a client is incredible!
